The Professor Guido Boella is Director of the Computer Science Department and a member of the Academic Senate of the University of Turin. His research activities concern the fields of artificial intelligence, the legal informatics of geoinformatics and the blockchain. He has created software such as the social network FirstLife and the wallet app blockchain Commonshood. He has participated in technology transfer projects for companies. He founded the university spinoff Nomotika.
He is the coordinator of various regional and European projects (ICT4LAW, EUCases, CANP, WeGovNow, Co-city, CO3, PININ) and of the international doctorate in Law, Science and Technology LAST-JD.
